Grob Tutor T1:

The University Air Squadron is equipped with the Grob Tutor aircraft. The number of aircraft on base at the moment is around eight.

The Tutor was introduced into RAF service during the early part of 2000. It is similar to the Slingsby Firefly in that it is single-engined and has a 3 wheel none retractable undercarriage. As with the Slingsby Fireflies, the Tutors are civilian registered. They are owned and operated by VT Aerospace, who used to operate but not own the Bulldogs that the Tutors have replaced.
