Save RAF Church Fenton!

The Ministry of Defence are currently intending to sell off the 'technical site' at RAF Church Fenton. This is the collection of currently disused buildings to the side of the operational airfield at Church Fenton.

A number of people in Church Fenton village have expressed concern about this imminent sale, because any such sale would not afford any protection to the buildings. It is our belief that the remaining buildings on the technical site at Church Fenton are an excellent example of a small pre-World War 2 "expansion period" airfield, and having seen very little development over the intervening 60+ years, should be afforded some form of preservation should the sale go ahead.
