Recently, much work has been going on at Leeds East in preparation for formal licencing of the airfield. Leeds East’s new ICAO designator is EGCM, and the airfield will soon be appearing in the UK AIP. The airfield has new operating surface markings, as well as various new signage to ensure it complies with the CAA requirements.
