Malcolm Sheperd’s father Thomas Shepherd was involved in operating decoy fields in the Church Fenton area during the war. He was stationed here from April 1940 to April 1944, after being recalled from the reserves in 1939 at the age of almost 40. He had the rank of Flight Sergeant. Malcolm would love to hear from anyone who remembers his father or knows anything of his wartime service.
