On Sunday 4th January 2015 the first event of Church Fenton’s new life as a civilian airfield took place; the so-called “Revival Fly-in”. Perfect weather in the North of England led to a turn out of over 200 light aircraft; Runway 24 has never been so busy! The new owners also opened most of the buildings for inspection by those visiting which was much appreciated.
